The Johnson City Holiday Parade is the perfect way to kick off your holiday season! Whether you're a long-time resident or visiting our community for the first time, there's something for everyone at our parade. From colorful floats and marching bands to Santa Claus and hot cocoa, our parade has all the festive fun you could want. Don't miss out on the magic!
Who: Tell your friends and invite your family; all are invited to attend!

What: The Johnson City Holiday Parade, hosted by the Johnson City Events Committee

Where: Join us along Main Street in Johnson City, NY. The parade will begin at Lester Avenue / Main Street and will end at North Broad Street / Main Street. After the parade, Sarah Jane Johnson Church is sponsoring cookies and cocoa, live entertainment, and a visit from Santa himself!

When: Thursday, December 5, 2024. Parade begins at 7:00 p.m. Please arrive early for best seating and parking.

Who is organizing the "Johnson City Holiday Parade"? ​
The parade is being organized by a new group of volunteers called the Johnson City Events Committee. We are SO excited to bring this event back to the community!
Why does the event fluctuate between November & December?
Historically, the event always occurred the Thursday following Thanksgiving. This year, the event will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024!
What route does the parade take? Where should I sit/stand to watch?
The parade begins at Lester Avenue and goes along Main Street. The parade will end at N. Broad Street. Parade attendees are invited to Sarah Jane Johnson Church after the parade for cookies, cocoa, live entertainment and a visit with Santa Claus!.
Where can I park?
Attendees are encouraged to park near the parade route in accordance to local guidelines.
